Filters when searching for accounts in Apollo.
*PSA* - These instructions refer to companies/accounts. When using this search, make sure you are on the "Companies" tab and not the "Peoples" tab.
Filters
Filters below that are marked with an asterisk* are located on the “more filters” page.
*Stage - use this filter to find or exclude companies in certain stages. You should generally always be excluding companies that are in progress or companies that we should not contact: In progress, connected, onboarding customer, open deal, no interest, unqualified, churned customer, current customer, failed customer, not prospect.
*Account Custom Fields ⇒ Outreach Market Segment ⇒ NetSuite or Intacct - Very important filter. This filter is used to identify accounts that we previously identified as NS or Intacct users.
*Account Engagement - This is a very important filter, you can segment Accounts by contact date. Want only accounts within the rules of engagement? Set the filter to 30 days before today's date.
Account HQ Location - Our bank network only works for US to US bank transactions. A huge portion of our value is tied to that tech. Because of this, 95% of our customers are based in the US.
Employee # - This filter is useful to search for companies of a certain size. Only want large companies? Use the 5000-10000 and 100000 + filters.
Industry and Keywords - Use this to exclude industries that you don’t want to see, or to
perform a specific industry-based search
Owner - Use this filter to find accounts owned by specific Paystanders
Technologies - You can input NetSuite in here to find companies that Apollo has identified as NetSuite users. Unfortunately, there is no data for Intacct.
Revenue - Apollo has ARR (annual recurring revenue) data for most companies. Use this filter to search for companies based on annual revenue.
Example Scenario
Companies must be NetSuite users. I don’t want any companies that have been contacted in the last 60 days or more. Along the same lines, no companies that are in progress or not a good fit. Additionally, we are looking for small to medium-sized companies with a revenue no higher than 50 million.
