CREATE A CHILD TICKET

When handling complex issues or managing multiple aspects of a customer query, creating child tickets can be a game-changer.

Child tickets, a powerful feature in Zendesk, allow you to effectively manage and track related sub-tasks or follow-up actions within a parent ticket.

 

Step by step:


1. Select the ticket you want to create a child ticket for. Click Tasks and Subtickets.

2. Enter the Name of the child ticket and hit enter.

3. Click here.

4. Click Convert to new ticket if you have not created the child ticket. Click Link to existing ticket, if you have created the child ticket.

5. A child ticket will be generated.

6. Fill in all the necessary information for the ticket. Follow Ticket Fields accurate
