The exact same process we used for Sales Navigator applies here. We are looking for companies hiring people with NetSuite experience or relevant NetSuite expertise ie a Netsuite Developer or Administrator.
*PSA - There are a lot of hiring companies posting on behalf of their clients. They will use language along the lines of “Our client is hiring for X position.” “Our client is looking to bring on X with Netsuite experience” etc. Keep your eye out for these recruiters and make sure not to reach out to them.
Example:
Example filters to use on LinkedIn Job Boards
- Type “Netsuite” in the search bar.
- Click “All Filters”
- “Date Posted” is good to find the most recent and hopefully unprospected posts.
- “Industry” Click every industry except “Staffing and Recruiting”. Hopefully, this weeds out hiring companies.
- “Job Function” and clicking “accounting” and “finance”. This is great for isolating accounting/finance hires with NetSuite experience.
- “Title” click relevant accounting/finance titles ie Accounting manager, controller, staff accountant, etc.
After you’ve created your list, it’s time to prospect for NetSuite companies.
- Select the first company, a job description will come up on the right-hand side of your screen
- Command + F to pull up the search function, type in “NetSuite” to highlight our ERP
- Look for verbiage that the company is using NetSuite and relevant information that can help you customize a thoughtful message.
- Once you’ve found a company, use Apollo extension to save or view the company in Apollo
- Confirm that you can begin outreach based on Rules of Engagement
- Enrich account with new prospects from LI and Apollo
- Sequence company or put in a list to sequence later.
The job boards are also a great source of easily personalized messages. If the job description posts something about a problem we solve, even better. Example below:

I see you’re on the hunt for an Accounting Manager who can help scale and optimize accounting processes in your NetSuite environment.
You probably already know this, but most people I talk to tell me NetSuite can be pretty barebones in that area, as it forces your team to handle the entire back end of the cash cycle manually.
Would automation when it comes to cash application and deposit reconciliation improve cash flow over at {Company}?
If so, I’d love to share some ideas that may benefit the incumbent manager and your bottom line.
